Dining at Cley Windmill...
Our two chefs, Emma and John, are making quite a name for themselves all over North Norfolk for their cooking. We cook nearly every evening and it is a very convivial affair. Our cooking is predominately old-fashioned home-made English country.
Guests dine by candlelight and we are open to non-residents as well (subject to availability). Dinner is served at 7.30pm. The cost of our three course dinner is £27.50.
As it is a set menu we would ask guests to let us know of any dietary requirements or particular likes or dislikes when you are booking so that we can plan accordingly.
We ask that guests book by 10.00am latest on the day that they would like to eat as we buy all our food in fresh every day.
Enjoy pre-dinner drinks by our roaring fire in the circular sitting room, or, in the summer months, why not sit on the lawn, looking out to sea over the reeds and marshes?
Guests can join us from 6.45pm and enjoy the spectacular views from the gallery.
The windmill is fully licenced and we hold an extensive selection of wine. There is also an Honesty Bar in the sitting-room and a good choice of soft drinks.
